Did you know that on January 15, 2010 there will be an Annular Solar Eclipse complimented by a New moon? You might be wondering what this all means?
Well, A Solar Eclipse is a special type of New Moon when the Moon is directly between the Sun and Earth. All eclipse indicate change; solar eclipse means new beginnings and usually manifest as an event in the outer world. What does that mean for you? Lots of Positive Energy and a time to Renew.
This Annular Eclipse is defined as the area of Sun blocked by the Moon that appears smaller leaving a ring of Sunlight visible around the Moon's shadow and the heightened impact of the eclipse's energy can be felt.
The energies are most prominent for a week on either side of the eclipse and you may be feeling a heightened sense of anxiety during this period. Neither the Spiritual energy of the Sun nor the soul energy of the Moon dominates. Rather, the shadow of the lunar energy - the Soul, even at its darkest moment, could be described as encircled and protected by Spirit.
The joining of these two forces provides focus and promises a rebirth of spirit.
In astrology it is noted at which of the Moon's nodes the eclipse occurs. North Nodal Eclipses tend to have a personal orientation and can symbolize personal identity, ego and the physical body. On the 15 we will be experiencing a north nodal eclipse, which signifies that we are all capable of developing new skills and talents.
